Cecelia Chapman was born in San Francisco, California and graduated from Parsons School of Design, New York in graphic design. She has worked in design for the Cultural Olympics, The Exploratorium Museum with Dr. Frank Oppenheimer, the Mexican Bellas Artes Design Department, for fabric companies and in the rubber stamp industry.

In 2006 Chapman began making very short film for the web. Her interest is in producing innovative visual languages that merge design, symbol, and narrative with experimental image, music, text, poetry, asemic writing. She explores connections in communication, consciousness, mythology, culture, and themes of power and transformation. Chapman has produced Drone Drama: Music for the Dead, Club Paradise, Planet of Dreams and Astro Pool, multi-media projects that investigate how we think and live. She is eager to develop a visual (or?) language to communicate with extra-terrestrials.
